Data Deletion Instructions

Reelengineai respects your right to control your data. This page explains how to remove data associated with your Reelengineai account, including data obtained via Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, or Pinterest connections.

1. What data we store

  • Account profile: name, email, authentication identifier
  • Connected social accounts: platform account IDs, display names, OAuth access and refresh tokens (encrypted at rest)
  • Generated content: scripts, images, voiceovers, rendered videos, thumbnails
  • Publishing history: scheduled posts, upload status, platform video IDs, error logs
  • Billing records where applicable

2. Disconnect a social account (self-service)

To immediately revoke Reelengineai's access to a connected platform (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest):

  • Sign in to Reelengineai and open Social Accounts.
  • Click Disconnect next to the account you want to remove.
  • The OAuth tokens for that account are deleted from our systems and can no longer be used to publish on your behalf.

3. Delete your entire Reelengineai account and all data

To request full deletion of your Reelengineai account and every piece of data we hold about you, send an email from the address associated with your account to privacy@reelengineai.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".

Include:

  • The email address on your Reelengineai account
  • (Optional) which connected platforms you want purged

We will confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete deletion within 30 days. Deletion covers: profile, OAuth tokens, connected accounts, generated scripts, images, voiceovers, rendered videos, publishing history, and analytics rows tied to your user ID. Some records (billing, tax, fraud-prevention, and security logs) may be retained where required by law.

4. Facebook / Meta data deletion callback

If you remove Reelengineai from your Facebook account, Meta sends a signed deletion request to our servers. We automatically:

  • Delete the Facebook and Instagram OAuth tokens for that user
  • Remove any cached Facebook Page or Instagram Business account metadata
  • Detach that platform from any queued or scheduled posts

You do not need to take any additional action — the disconnect is automatic. To confirm status or request a manual purge, contact privacy@reelengineai.com.
